Straightening 

I build myself a jig out of wood to fix some bends in the belly band. Worked quite well. 

Fiberglass Repair

Some holes were worn through so I repaired with some cloth and resin.

Polishing

I polished the belly band before having it painted. I removed the belly band to paint it and removed it again to straighten and do the fibreglass work.

Rivets

I replaced the rivets with 5/32" x3/8" aluminum blind rivets.
