I have one door that always seems to be half open. It would be nice if this door would default to fully open when ajar.
The thought here is to remove part of the hinge and add a spring.
Perhaps a spring from a mouse trap initially.
Let's see if I can do this.

Without the ability to torque the spring, we couldn't get it to move the door.
Perhaps we can get a self closing door hinge and torque it in reverse. Alas, I can't find a 3" spring hinge.
