Basement Concrete Floor

• Poly on floor sealed to footing
• Poly sealed against all extrusions
• Post installed before concrete
• Passive radon pipe installed
• Rebar added.

Sill Plate Install

• add concrete bolts post foundation pour for ease
• add sill gasket
• add 2x4 around sill (fire guard) in order to be able nail up drywall so that the insulation is not exposed to fire.

• chalk line to start
• 1/8" gap between boards
• add adhesive on rim and floor joists
• use screws
• screws every 6-8" around the edges and every 12" elsewhere
• screws back 1.5" from edge
• overhang ok, can trim
• stagger your joints
