Overview
We plan to modify a GE Profile refrigerator such that we can control the temperature of the fridge and freezer section independently.
Fridge: GE Profile Fridge with Brita
Parts
- Sonoff uController - Sonoff Basic?
- 2x DS18B20 temperature probe
- 4.7K resistor
- Damper Motor & assembly
Design
We are going to add a motorized damper which will allow us to regulate temperature for the freezer and fridge separately.
This will allow us to:
- call for cold when the freezer is not at it's desired temp.
- close the damper when the fridge section reaches it's desired temperature
