Observations

  • Freezer is at temp(0F) but fridge is warm(57F).

  • Is the fan working intermittently?
  • Could there be a thermostat/control issue? 
  • Is it possible the door was not closing properly and the french door's door flap was not engaged?


Round 2

It Happened Again

  • Checked condenser fan and it was working.
  • Not the door flap
  • Cycled the power and no change
  • Turned off for 30-60 minutes and it started up and cooled!
  • Could be:
    • damper freezing closed due to bad fridge temp calibration
    • defroster
    • defrost timer
    • damper stuck
    • evaporator fan? (heard it, so unlikely unless the fan blades are messed up)
