Figuring out length by using width of board and angle
If you know the angle and width of board, you can calculate the length at which the cut will exit the board.
Tan (angle) = opposite / adjacent
Tan(6) = width/length
length = width / Tan(6) = 5.25" / Tan (6) = 49.95" = 4'2"
If we want the height at a length 3'
width=Tan(6)/36 = 3.78" = 3 3/4"
